Juliana & Saxon
WOW - too many amazing photos to choose from! This elegant garden party was one to remember. Every detail so carefully thought out, and the bright pops of color had the bride's name written all over it. Juliana wanted her wedding to be an extension of her personal style - something bright, cheery, and unique.
Juliana and Saxon chose to have their reception at the historic Mayo Hotel in downtown Tulsa. The gorgeous all white ballroom with crystal chandeliers serves as a blank canvas for us to get creative and play with color. The florist, Poppy Lane Design, did not disappoint with these flowers!
Inviting Place created a custom floral design that was too beautiful not to use everywhere! We incorporated this floral on the vellum jacket of the invitations, escort card wall, custom wrapped champagne bottle, bar wrap, and best of all the dance floor! This made such a statement in the ballroom. Guests truly felt like they were in a botanical wonderland as they danced the night away with giant blooms beneath their feet. Cheers to the Bryants!

The Perfect Easter Table
Need some inspiration for your Easter entertaining this year? Here are a few of NAE’s favorites for the perfect Easter table! No better way to kick off spring than with these bright pops of color. While most of table top items we chose are from William’s Sonoma, some of our FAVORITE accessories come from local shops in Tulsa! The acrylic bunnies that Inviting Place has this year are to die for, the jumbo eater eggs and brushed carrots from Shoppe Sasha are too cute to resist, and All Things Cake is putting together the most adorable Easter trays, making it that much easier on you for hosting (or the perfect hostess gift!).
Maddy + Eric
All of our weddings are special, but this one was extra special. The bride, Maddy, is Nicole’s sister and one of Maddie’s closest friend (one of the reasons she works for NAE)! Planning a wedding in the midst of a global pandemic is not an easy task, but after a date change followed by a venue change, it was the most perfect day. Thank you Maddy & Eric for trusting us and letting us be apart of your big day in so many ways. It truly was THE BEST DAY! We love you!

Backyard Garden Party Wedding
While this wasn't plan A for Laney and Nicholas, it turned out more perfect than they could have imagined. So perfect, that they ended up canceling their larger reception that we had postponed to November! Their original plan for June 13th was a big country club wedding, with a band and lots of dancing, but when Covid had other plans they made the decision to get married on their original date of June 13, but on a much smaller scale and in the bride's childhood backyard. The father or the bride and her two brothers worked tirelessly to redo their back deck to ensure it was large enough to fit the amount of tables needed to accommodate the number of guests. It was so much fun getting to see the transformation, and backyard weddings have quickly become our favorite - so personal, intimate, and unique to the families.
Laney wanted very bold and vibrant colors - but she also had a very classic and elegant style to her. She wore a very sleek and classic gown for the ceremony, and changed into a white halter dress for the dinner portion of the evening. Major Marilyn Monroe vibes! Her bouquet was filled with the most gorgeous blooms, so bright and vibrant making such a statement against her white gown. Her bridesmaids wore blue, which tied in the blue from the linens that we used on the tables. We were so happy with how the Harper Blue linens from La Tavola transformed the space - they really helped to soften the brown elements from the house and deck, while still bringing in color and keeping with the garden party vibes.
Fun fact about the bride: she is a quadruplet! So getting married in the backyard that her and her siblings grew up playing in was extra special to her. Not to mention, the backyard was basically made for a wedding! The circle patio where they exchanged vows is original to the home and couldn't have been a more perfect altar. They have a large family that is very close knit, and not to mention a ton of close friends; note the large wedding party and the fact that there were 24 speeches given (yes, 24!). At the end of the night the bride and groom were escorted down the driveway with a sparkler send-off, and off they went into their happily ever after!
Sea of Tulips
We had 6 months to design and plan this black tie garden party! It seems like such a small amount of time to plan something so extravagant, but the short amount of time ensured that decisions were made quickly and there wasn’t much time to dwell on an idea, which can definitely helps for a seamless planning process. Ali knew she wanted black & white, crisp & clean, elegant & modern all at the same time. With the help of some amazing vendors and Meagan from Poppy's Garden over the top tulip chandelier vision, we were able to knock the design out of the park for this amazing bride and groom - and their sweet family. Enjoy the photos below, as we take you through Ali & Tyler’s big day!
We love that Ali chose blush robes for her bridesmaids - they made for the prettiest photos!
The sweetest flower girl wagon that the bride’s niece road down the aisle in!
Poppy’s Garden created a mini version of the tulip chandelier for the ceremony, giving guests a little preview of what was to come!
Gorgeous & classic invitations from The Inviting Place. Each invitation was secured with a silk black ribbon, then placed into an inner envelope with a black liner sealed with a monogrammed white wax seal. Oh not to mention the stamps on both the invitations and the reply cards were a custom black and white drawing of their dog, and it could not have been cuter!
Guests were greeted with lots of candlelight, flowers, and a black acrylic welcome sign which set the tone for the entire evening.
Once guests made their way up to the ballroom for cocktail hour, they could find their table number at this beautiful escort card wall. Each card had a white wax seal with the bride & grooms monogram - mimicking the one that they received on their invitations! We had 2 bars set up, and both were beautifully decorated with arrangements and greenery crawling up the sides.
All of the guest tables were unique, with a variety of vases, florals, and candles. Some tables had a large rounded arrangement in a glass vase, surrounded by smaller vases of blooms.
Other tables consisted of black tapered candles and a variety of small arrangements.
We love square tables! One of our favorite things to do is incoroprate tables of all shapes into the layout, to help break it up and so that you are not looking into a sea of rounds when you first walk in.
The square tables had custom planter boxes, built by Poppy’s Garden, embedded with an assortment of roses, hydrangeas, and black floating candles.
We went with a glass charger to keep the tables clean and crisp, and a black napkin for the dramatic contrast against the white linens. The Inviting Place designed the menus, and each one was wrapped with a velvet ribbon and secured with a wax seal that had the couples monogram on it.
A beautiful & classic white wedding cake with a modern twist! All Things Cake did such an amazing job, and blew everyone away with both the wedding cake & the groom’s cake!
WOW - this shot of the golden hour glow in the ballroom!
For the head table, we went with a white velvet linen from Party Pro to add more texture to the room. The table was lined with an assortment of bud vases, and black candles of all shapes and sizes. We didn’t want the table to feel bare, but we definitely didn’t want it to compete with the tulip chandelier that was hanging above.
The details don’t stop! The Inviting Place created the most adorable cocktail napkins - Ali, Tyler, & Brinkley!
The Groom’s’ Cake - One of the many WOW factors about this wedding. This cake was very important to the bride, she wanted to surprised her groom with a life-size cake of their Berndadoodle, Brinkley. And All Things Cake did not disappoint!
The Bride & Groom enjoyed a private last dance as guests lined up in the pre-function to prepare for the send-off!
A long line of friends and family cheered Ali & Tyler on as they made their way up to the Penthouse for an after party!

Brides of Oklahoma Styled Shoot 2020
MODERN TROPICS
We were so excited to put together a styled shoot for Brides of Oklahoma magazine! We wanted to create something that was out of the box; something different than what our brides typically go for. We started thinking about some of our favorite places, when we settled on Palm Springs! We are drawn to the modern, mid-century vibes with pops of color. Since the Tulsa Club Hotel had just opened, we were so excited to get our foot in the door and create something beautiful! The art deco vibe of the hotel made for the perfect backdrop.
You can see how it might have been easy for us to choose a venue for this shoot! The beautiful modern ballroom at the Tulsa Club.
How fun are these cocktail stickers? Such a fun way to customize + personalize your cocktail hour!
We decorated the gold bar back with glassware and bud vases with unique blooms.
The Tulsa Club created the most beautiful salad to go with our theme! Our mouths were watering and we were trying not to steal a bite during the shoot!
Our model (& former NAE bride!) Mary Kris is wearing a classic and chic gown from Ellis Bridal. The hotel itself made for the most beautiful background - this green and gold art deco wallpaper on the mezzanine was such a statement.
Hair & makeup by Muse Beauty Bar!
Selecting a linen was an easy choice for us - black velvet all the way! Since gold and acrylic play a big part in our theme, these Nova chairs were also a no brainer.
Laurel & Marie brought our vision to life with these menus! Laser cut vellum with the menu printed in white ink. SO COOL!
Display is available to rent. Please visit our rentals page
Another one of our favorite pieces. We had this display made last summer, and have had so much fun changing it up in so many different ways! Laurel & Marie printed a welcome on a white sticker, and carefully attached it to the acrylic board!
Just WOW. Will never get over this stationary! I mean, gold acrylic palm leaf invitations?!
Is it 5 o’clock yet?

Sometimes all you need is love, and we love a good neon sign.
The coolest bar arrangement by The Flower Shop Pryor!
All Things Cake created this stunning 4-tier masterpiece with gold details and sugar flowers.
More amazing blooms by The Flower Shop Pryor!
We chose to incorporate emerald green because of the colors in the Tulsa Club. This velvet lounge furniture could not have been a better fit, and came from Party Pro!
For place cards, we wanted to do something out of the box (or in the box, HA!) We found these acrylic boxes, put a single bloom in each, and had Laurel & Marie write each guest’s name on the top.
Display & are easel are available to rent. Please visit our rentals page
We recently purchased this acrylic display to put donuts on. We just love it so much, we knew we had to incorporate it in the shoot but donuts didn’t really go with our vibe! We found these fun, hot pink tassels and attached the escort cards and gold palm leafs that Laurel & Marie created for us.
The view from the terrace at Tulsa Club is AMAZING.
Beautiful lobby at the Tulsa Club.
